KENYA SEED COMPANY Ag MANAGING DIRECTOR HOSTS GOLF MUG AT KITALE GOLF CLUB
Kenya Seed Company Ag Managing Mr Fred Oloibe is set to host the Kitale Golf mug sponsorship on Huduma Day to thank our loyal customers for supporting the company. The event which will take place at Kitale Golf Club on 10th October 2020 is expected to feature over 60 Golfers.
The highlight of the event the conversation the Ag Managing Director will have with various guests and farmers who will be in attendance. This sponsorship is tailored to coincide with the International Customer Service Week. Mr Oloibe will use the opportunity to appreciate them for supporting the company and also inform them about the different varieties produced by the company towards achieving the Big 4 Agenda on Food Security and Nutrition.
Some of the new varieties include; H6506 tolerant to Maize Lethal Disease, KSDV01 (maize) which is drought-prone variety, Kenya Cheupe (bean) resistant to most bean diseases, and Chairman F1(cabbage) tolerant to black rot.

The tournament which is a unique tournament from the normal Annual Kenya Seed Classic Golf usually held during the planting season. Since the COVID-19 pandemic slowed down activities, Kitale Club has downscaled its activities and as the country gradually opened, they have played friendly tournaments sponsored by the members. This is one such tournament where the Kenya Seed MD will sponsor in his capacity as a member of the club and golfer.
The Kitale Golf Club is located at the entrance of Kitale town and guests can enjoy the open view of Mt Elgon as they watch the evening sunset in Kenyas’ breadbasket.
